Lily completed her undergraduate degree at McGill University, and is now working on a project that will reveal how well we are able to reintroduce snakes to the wild after they have been temporarily removed to avoid disturbance. Her species of focus are the Great Basin Gopher Snake (pictured) and the Western Racer. The latter work is particularly interesting as we know so little about this snake in BC. Lily thesis work is tightly intertwined with Veronica’s study. Support for this project is being provided by the Trans-Mountain Corporation .
